  1. I also find that pursuing my courses at my own pace allows me the freedom to structure my time. However, I often find some frustration in the fact that I'm not finished already with my degree. :-)

    Your mindmap made me reconsider some of the items I included in my network. I don't watch tv enough for it to count as a source of informaiton, but I do read extensively. I have an ipod, but rarely use it since I started my Ph.D. program--not enough time! Well done!

  3. Hi Neena,
    I too would not be able to return to college to obtain a Ph.D. as my work schedule at the state department would never allow it. The internet with its capacity to deliver instruction and allow for research from home has opened the doors for me. I wonder if academia will change because more and more practitioners are involved rather than folks who have very little real world experience. It would seem to me that connectivision will allow for the development of some very practical research applications from folks in the field using what they design...Carol
